After a really rough start, Adonis has blossomed and is such a sweet boy! He was picked up by our rescue team in the Houston, TX area after we were alerted to a very sick dog roaming a neighborhood that was going to be shot instead of getting the medical cared he desperately needed. We rushed Adonis to ER once in our care. He was suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration, internal parasites and mange. Although we didn't know if he would make it at first, we never gave up on him!

Fast forward, Adonis is healthy and has recovered from the physical trauma of his past and is finally ready for a forever home! His fur is growing back and he is just an absolute beauty. Needless to say, Adonis has won the hearts of all of us at GPAT and he actually has become somewhat of a celebrity as thousands of people from all over the country cheered him on! We think it was all of the love and prayers that pulled him through.

Adonis adores children and likes to play with other dogs. He also likes to snuggle and be lazy on the sofa with his people. If you can provide the special kind of love that Adonis so much deserves, complete an adoption application for this amazing boy. Adonis has overcome so much and deserves the perfect forever home.

Adult Adoption Criteria

All current pets in adoptive home should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.
These dogs are not livestock dogs and are to be considered as family pets that are allowed inside the house.
Preference is for an applicant to have some knowledge and experience of the breed, however, specific information related to the breed will be shared during the interview.
Secure and visible fencing is needed.
Adonis Can be adopted throughout the state of Texas only.

Adoption Fee is $400 - All of our dogs are spayed / neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date on vaccinations.
